The lighting shall be adapted to your physical working environment, for

considering both task and age.

seldom enough to meet your requirements.
If you work at a computer, look
for luminaires which distribute the light in a way that is not creating glare or
reflections in the computer screen, provide an even and flicker-free light
distribution, are easy to adjust, stable and flexible
If you have a large
work area, look for luminaires which will illuminate large work surfaces,

If you work at a less spacious working area, look for
luminaires which give smaller but still effective light output, are multi
functional, are stable, distribute the light in a way that is not creating glare

Normal desk work 500 - 1000 lux
Control work 750 -
1500 lux
Reading, drawing and vision demanding work 1000 - 2000 lux
General lighting usually provides approx. 300 -500 lux
