Renovation and tenant adjustment of an old factory. The project is ongoing.

One new building was built and several older buildings have been renovated within the perimeter of the historical Akershus Castle area. To accommodate glare free light and a maximum of individual light adjustment Free has been chosen.

Gjensidige Insurance

Norway’s largest insurance company Gjensidige was on the look for a lighting solution which could be individually adjusted by each employee. They chose Free floor in combination with the Air task lamp. This solution has now become a standard solution for all Gjensidige offices around Norway.

Allingsåskuriren

Renovation of an older building with a lot of charm. The goal was to create a modern and functional office while retaining the buildings charming atmosphere.

The new Opera House

The project was mainly a total lighting solution for the office areas of the Opera House. The customer wanted a flexible solution. A combination of Free floor and Arketto task light was chosen. The task light Ninety was chosen for technical rooms. At Designers Saturday in September 2009 the Opera House got the Interior award for best interior the last two years.

The INDEKS building

The renovation of the Indeks building was one of the largest renovation jobs in Oslo in 2008. The building has 17 floors, and the estimate was 80 luminaires per floor - type Modul 300 2x28W prismatic. Luxo got the whole project. The customer made his choice based on light technique and looks. Architects: Gunnar Granberg og Mellbye arkitekter, among others
